1. General Introduction - The easiest and most convenient way to purchase computer components is through our secure website. If you do not wish to order on the web site, you may also order by phone, fax or e-mail. This site is structured in such a way that you will always see the the list of categories on your left. In order to view the products, simply click on the category you want (e.g. Floppy CD-Drive or Memory) and they will appear in the window beside the list. Each product has a description and (if available) a picture. The navigation of this site is straight-forward. However, if you want to go back to the previous page use your browsers "Back" button. If you get lost or you do not know what to do, press "Help" which brings you to this "how to order" page.
2. How to Purchase - To buy something is easy: "Select Quantity" and click "Buy now" . You can do this with as many products as you want to. If you want to check or change your basket click on "View/Modify cart". Now it is possible to view your purchases, edit quantities or remove parts. You finish your shopping tour by pressing "check out" (changes can still be made). After "Submitting" the order please fill in the required details and click the "Verify" order button. The order is then sent through a secure server. A confirmation mail will automatically be issued (products, quantities and cost). When we receive your order we check the payment details and the availibility of the goods. A mail with estimated delivery time and shipping costs will be sent to you. For any questions regarding your purchase please use the following e-mail address sales@marx-computers.com. If you decide to leave the site without buying and re-visit our shop later the information about your shopping cart will be stored for five days (see also the privacy statement).
3. Payment - Payment can be made by:
- Credit card: We accept Visa and Mastercard. Every credit card order goes through a secure server.
- Cheque: Please allow 3-5 days clearance before delivery.
- Bank draft/postal order: After receiving a bank draft goods will be despatched immediately.
- Payment on collection from our office by cash, cheque, credit card.
- Net 30: Customer pays within 30 days of invoice date(only available to companies and authorities following credit check). Companies, and organisations who would like to open an account, please complete this application form and e-mail or fax it to us.4. Delivery/Shipping Costs - Delivery costs are not included in the order price and will be added when the order is received. Shipping costs will be confirmed to the customer by e-mail in an order confirmation, which also gives expected delivery time. For a guide to charges see shipping costs.
5. Troubleshooting - You must allow cookies to buy online. If this function is disabled in your browser we are not able to gather the necessary information about your online shopping. In this case you can order by phone, fax or e-mail. If your problem can not be solved please report it to support@marx-computers.com. Should you encounter problems with the website itself (bugs, invalid links or just strange behaviour) please mail to webmaster@marx-computers.com. Please always state your problem, your Internet-browser and the operating system.
6. Receiving Your Order - On receipt of your order please check the packaging and contents carefully. Please keep any boxes that the products are supplied in for two weeks following delivery in case you need to return the product. If you have any problems with your delivery or goods you must notify our Customer Services Department within 7 working days of receiving your order.
