To ensure that our returns service runs efficiently at all times, customers must obtain an RMA (Returned Materials Authorisation) number before returning suspected faulty parts. Failure to obtain an RMA number will result in all items being sent back to customers without processing. An RMA number can be obtained by calling or e-mailing our Technical Support.
Customers are responsible for ensuring goods are returned suitably packed and for obtaining the necessary proof of delivery and receipt. In order to expedite your returns please ensure you have completed the following: Mark your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. Include a note outlining the problem. Remember that the more detail you put into the fault description, the easier it will be for us to reproduce the alleged fault. Include any cables, manuals, drivers and accessories that came with the product. Please note that returned items are tested for the faults that are indicated within your fault description and for basic operation of the product. If these faults are not found, then the product will be returned to the customer and a test fee of Euro 20.00 plus shipping costs will be charged.
Returned items confirmed as faulty will be replaced by an identical product (or a product of similar or better specification), sent for repair or credited depending on the age, condition and status of the product and the availability of an appropriate replacement. Marx Computers can not be held liable for any loss of data stored on any product sent for testing. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that data is backed up where possible before returning the product. In the case of processors, obvious damage to the processor or processor core or damage caused through overheating or overclocking will invalidate the warranty.
Returned goods can also be brought to our premises for processing where we will endeavor to resolve the problem while you wait. If this is not possible, you will be advised when to collect the product. The Company cannot accept any returned goods found to fall into one or more of the following categories:
i) The goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer e.g overclocking of processors.
ii) The warranty label is found to have been tampered with / torn.
iii) The goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by the Company.
iv) The goods are outside the 6 month warranty limit.
v) The goods do not have a corresponding RMA number displayed clearly on the item(s).
